Today we are travelling over to Singapore to share Liguo and Huixin’s fabulous wedding. Loving the gorgeous golden light and the fun formal portraits!

Melvin Ho, who photographed their wedding,  is a modern lifestyle wedding photographer based in Singapore (but also available for destination weddings!) The majority of his clients are  Chinese couples,  and he had these lovely words to to say about Liguo and Huixin’s wedding.

“For Liguo and Huixin, they are truly in love. From the way they look at each other, hold each other, you know they are together for life.”

Melvin also shared what a typical day for a Singaporean bride is like!

“This involves getting up early to get the bridal makeup done. The bride will have her best friends around to set up obstacles for the groom before he can “fetch” the bride. After that, the whole bridal party will proceed to the groom’s place for tea ceremony. Once that is done, they will return to the bride’s place for another round of tea ceremony. Next, the couple will proceed to a hotel for their dinner reception and will end around 11pm. It’s tiring to get married here!”
