Real Wedding: Tomi & Dave’s Joyous East End Canary Wharf Wedding
Today we are featuring the UK wedding of Tomi and Dave, who were married in front of family and friends at the Bromley Public Hall, following with a reception at the Hilton in Canary Wharf.
The colour theme of the wedding reception was white and sunflower yellow chair sashes, with female guests attired in cream, green and yellow traditional Nigerian outfits and gele. The groom wore a black suit with bow tie. The men attending the wedding also wore black suits with bow ties or a skinny tie. The bride wore a mermaid shaped strapless wedding gown with an accente with Swarovski Crystals. She topped off her bridal look with an elbow length veil and updo, also sprinkled with Swarovski Crystals. Her flowers were a hand tied bouquet of classic cream roses.
“Everyone was so happy, full of fun and energy and it was a truly joyous occasion.”
James Ruane, Tomi and Dave’s wedding photographer shares with us his “bird’s eye view” of the wedding.
“The wedding was truly fantastic, one of the best weddings I have ever photographed. I was overwhelmed by the colours, especially of some of the guests, which made beautiful photographs and Tomi and Dave didn’t stop dancing as soon as they entered the reception.”
Despite a fun filled reception, Tomi and Dave even managed to grab some time away from their reception to capture some great shots along the river.
You can see more of James’ modern and fun wedding photographs at www.jamesruane.co.uk. James is an experienced wedding photographer based in London, who will be photographing many African/Asian weddings over the coming wedding season, so I would grab him on james@jamesruane.co.uk before your date is grabbed by someone else!
A big thank you to James Ruane for sharing Tomi & Dave’s colourful photos with us today!
Of the numerous wedding photo sessions I’ve reviewed this morning, this set is by far the most impressive. My congrats to the bride and groom. You are an amazingly beautiful couple. My applause to the photographer – well done.
