Big Veils are Back!
What with royal weddings, plus Kate Moss and Lilly Allen getting married recently, the focus has turned back onto big veils. The bigger the better! Also the larger floor length cathedral length veils are making a swift comeback!
Make sure that if you are going for a dramatic length or big veil that it doesn’t overpower your wedding dress or obscure your face to avoid the net curtain effect.
Strapless or sleeveless wedding dresses tend to work better with larger, longer veils.
Floor length wedding dresses work best with floor length or big veils, but mix it up a bit with a long veil and a knee length wedding dress!
Keep your jewellery to a minimum and let your veil do all the talking!
But if you can’t bring yourself to get a big veil, birdcage veils are just as dramatic and just as head turning!
