Our hearts, prayers and best wishes go out to all the businesses and individuals that were affected last week due to the London riots. In the light of such criminality and David Starkey’s inflammatory remarks on Newsnight, it is refreshing to see an organisation – The Precious Awards – that is celebrating the positive contributions and achievements of inspirational entrepreneurial women of colour who are running businesses in the UK. The Awards are passionate about recognizing success and inspiring other women of colour to launch their own business.
