Rize USA, are an established and leading UK Production Company, specialising in factual programming. They have won a number of awards, ranging from BAFTAs to the Montreux Rose D’or and they are just about to produce a major documentary for BBC 2!
 
They wrote to us asking whether any of the wonderful brides or wedding planners that follow our blog would want to feature their wedding and preparation leading up to it on their observational series which is looking to explore the subject of weddings among different religions and cultures in the UK today, through their planning.
 
The series will consist of 3 x 1 hour films which will be transmitted in a prime time slot on BBC 2 later this year or early 2013. It has been commissioned by Religion And Ethics at the BBC and the plan is to document the planning of two to three weddings and the actual event itself. They plan to film from now through to August 2012 so all weddings must fall within this date. 
 
The great news is that they are a team of a small number of people and their approach is to film in a fly-on-the-wall way – namely observing proceedings rather than looking to control or ‘shape’ them so you can rest assured that your day will still be as special and as personal as you have always wanted it to be!
